Sunday July 29 I ran an autocross in my 1990 Miata with the Fairfield County Sports Car Club.  FCSCC is the oldest continually operating sports car club in the country.  It's a good group of people, and a lot of fun.  Before the event, the club held the "Chief's Challenge" an event for the local police chiefs.  The chiefs run the autocross in their cruisers.  The winner has a donation made in their name by the club to Special Olympics.  It's a great way to raise money for a good cause.   The Fairfield police won, so the…
